HOW TO GET TO your UNIVERSITY!

From SIVALAI PLACE to your University

>> to MU, Salaya Campus:
1) Walk or take scooter taxi to Isaraphab rd
2) Take the Green Bus no #40 which cost 7 Baht.
The bust stop is on the same side of Sivalai Place.
a) Get off at Central Pinklao. Transfer to Bus no #124 (8.50 BHT)
OR
b) Get off at Chaiyapruk. Transfer to the air-con Bus #515 (20BHT)

Both #124 and #515 go right to MU. (#515 is a bit faster)
It should take about 40 min to 1 hr depends on the traffic.

>> to TU, Tha Prachan Campus:
There are different ways to get to Thammasat from Sivalai Place. This is how the Fall'07 exchange students get to TU.

First get to Wang Lang Pier and then take the Ferry. It would take 20-25 minutes to get to school which really depends on the traffic. You can bike there as well.

1) From Sivalai Place to Siriraj Hospital/Wang Lang Pier:

Walking will take you about 20 minutes. There are two buses that go straight to Siriraj, the #149 bus only cost 8.5 baht and the #177 air conditioned bus which costs 13 baht. It will only take about 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic.

There are scooter taxis on the edge of the Soi that will charge you 25 baht to get there, this is actually the fastest way to get there.

Taxis are always available, no matter what time, and it will cost you around 41 baht to get to Siriraj. They'll take about 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic as well.

2) From Siriraj Hospital/Wang Lang Pier:
Take the Ferry which took around 2 minutes and cost 3 baht. TU is just round the corner within 1 minute walk.
