One of our resident is allergic to all dairy product. I have made a allergy translation card for him to carry around while traveling in Thailand. Here is the prinout in JPEG and copy of the text file, hope it might be useful.
I have severe, life-threatening allergies to all dairy product.
cannot eat: milk, butter, cheese, ice-cream, yoghurt, chocolate etc.
can eat: soya, rice, oat, nut, coconut , egg, meat, seafood etc.

Loi Krathong Festival opening ceremony at the foot of the Rama 8 Bridge on October 31, 2009 at 19.00. The opening ceremony will also feature a showcase of Thai art and culture and musical performances. The traditional Nang Noppamas beauty contest — a key element of every Loi Krathong celebration never fails to draw a cheering crowd. The evening ends with the release of krathong floats set adrift on the Chao Phraya River.
